Questions

Common flooring questions

LVP or laminate: which is better?

Both are wood-look floors that click together and float over the subfloor. LVP has a vinyl core, so it handles water much better. That makes it the pick for basements, kitchens, bathrooms and homes with spills. Laminate has a harder top layer that resists scratches really well, and it's great in dry rooms like bedrooms and living rooms.

What's the best flooring for a basement?

For most basements, luxury vinyl plank is the best choice. It handles moisture far better than hardwood or laminate. Tile is another good option. Before any basement floor goes in, the concrete should be checked for moisture and flatness, and we do that at your free estimate.

Do I have to buy the flooring from you?

No. You have two options. We can supply and install, which means we source the flooring and install it. Or we can install only, using flooring you've already bought. We can source and install any major flooring brand.

How do I pay, and do you need a deposit?

We accept debit, Visa and online payment. A deposit is required to book your installation date.
